[Radio] RTTY Library for Arduino

Download Library Place the library in your “Arduino/Libraries” folder, restart the Arduino app and you’re good to go (you can then find it at the examples section as well). Download: RTTY.zip

Small example

  1. #include <rtty.h>
  2. void setup()
  3. {
  4.   RTTY.attach(2,3);
  5. }
  6. void loop()
  7. {
  8.   RTTY.tx("Hello World!");
  9. }

    Wat dachten jullie van dit systeem: http://cgi.ebay.com/New-Vaisala-RS80-15G-Radiosonde-GPS-Windfinding-/390303374932?pt=LH_DefaultDomain_0&hash=item5adfe4de54
    Weten jullie hoe je/we hier bruikbare GPS co├Ârdinatenuit halen?
    Volgen smij kan je gewoon je ook Ham radio van marktplaats gebruiken.
    Laat even wat weten eventueel op mijn email adres.

    Hi there,
    does this LIB create a Audio Output? I loaded it up for a test, but all i hear when i Connect a Speaker to the 2 pins (in the “incoming” speaker-cable) and GND (on the “outgoing” speakercable) is a rel. monoton “BZZZZZZZZZ”…. When i try to decode this with a RTTY-Software it gives me only dreck…
    Would nice if we could communicate about that.
    Thank you very much in advance and greetings from Germany
    Sebastian

    Hello, would it work with this transmitter http://www.lextronic.fr/~lextronic_doc/AJV58E.pdf ?
    Also I intend to connect the receiver’s audio output to this http://www.maplin.co.uk/p/usb-video-and-audio-grabber-a07jr so I can have the signal on my PC and decode it with a software. I’m a novice does it seem possible to you ?
    (This is for my class project we’re making a flying drone that transmit informations to the ground)
    Thanks in advance.

    Dear Tim,
    I’ve heavily impressed with the work. Made some mod to get output from a single pin with audio tone for AFSK operation. But the problem is RTTY.tx(“Hello World!”) takes only Quoted strings, but can it take data from variable? So that the GPS can send ASCII text to serial and serial can keep it and then that will be converted to RTTY.
    I need to work with variables…

    The code in the example doesnt compile, i just get error:
    RTTY.pde: In function ‘void setup()’:
    RTTY:6: error: ‘RTTY’ was not declared in this scope
    RTTY.pde: In function ‘void loop()’:
    RTTY:11: error: ‘RTTY’ was not declared in this scope
    Has there been any changes?
